Kevin Gates Ordered to Share Music Catalogue Sale Proceeds with Ex-Wife

Rapper Kevin Gates has been directed to distribute a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his music catalogue to his estranged wife, Dreka Gates, for child and spousal support, as stated in court documents acquired by TMZ.
All proceeds from the sale are to be placed into a Morgan Stanley account overseen by Robert Bracy, the Chief Financial Officer of Bread Winner Alumni.
Kevin Gates is set to receive an initial payment of $538,798, with subsequent monthly payments of $225,000 starting in October.
The court order also assigns $125,000 to Dreka Gates' legal team, $100,000 to her accountant, and $103,000 to a third-party mediation service.
Kevin Gates had previously claimed on social media that Dreka Gates had repeatedly taken money from him during their marriage.
Dreka Gates' legal representative dismissed these allegations as 'completely false and fabricated.' In October 2025, she alleged that Kevin had ceased providing financial support for her and their children in 2021.
