Bendel Insurance Striker Kayode Oke Scores Fastest EuroMatch NPFL Goal in 2026/27 Season

Kayode Oke recorded the fastest goal of the 2026/27 EuroMatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season during Bendel Insurance’s Matchday 8 contest against Sporting Lagos. His strike occurred just 18 seconds into the match at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

Oke’s goal, achieved before the first minute elapsed, established a new benchmark for the fastest goal in the league’s current campaign. The achievement marked a significant personal milestone for the striker, reflecting his alertness and ability to capitalize on early attacking opportunities.

Despite this remarkable individual feat, Bendel Insurance suffered a 2-1 defeat to Sporting Lagos. Sports247 reported that Oke’s early breakthrough did not prevent the team from losing the match.
