SEC Masterplan 2.0 Aims for ₦750trn Market Valuation by 2036

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) launched the Capital Market Masterplan 2.0, a ten-year regulatory plan set to run through 2036. This initiative is intended to transform Nigeria's asset formation framework.

The plan targets a market valuation of ₦750 trillion by 2036, aiming to shift economic growth from foreign portfolio inflows to local savings. This strategy is outlined in the blueprint unveiled during the national capital market conference.
