Sudan Drone Strikes Kill Over 100 in Market Attack

A drone strike on Tangong Market in Nyala, South Darfur, reportedly killed over 100 civilians, according to multiple reports. The attack also caused significant injuries and damaged parts of the market, with some areas reportedly set ablaze.

In addition to the market strike, a separate drone attack targeted an electricity substation in Omdurman, disrupting power supplies in Khartoum, Omdurman, and El Gezira. This affected several drinking water stations, according to reports.

The attacks are part of a broader pattern of assaults on civilian infrastructure, with the UN Human Rights Office noting more than 306 deaths from drone strikes in the first three weeks of October.
