FIFA Approves Normalisation Committee for Nigerian Football

FIFA has given the green light for the establishment of a Normalisation Committee to oversee Nigerian football operations. This decision was made by the Bureau of the FIFA Council, which approved the formation of the committee to manage the affairs of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The committee will be composed of members appointed jointly by FIFA and CAF, as stated in a letter from FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström to Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme MON. The exact number of members has yet to be determined.

Until the Normalisation Committee is officially appointed, the NFF Secretariat will continue to handle the daily operations and administrative tasks of the country’s football activities.
