Zamfara Lawmakers Dismiss APC Rejoining Claims

Eight suspended Zamfara State House of Assembly members denied rejoining the All Progressives Congress after meeting President Bola Tinubu. The lawmakers stated their visit to the President focused on their suspension, unpaid entitlements, and resolving the matter, not party politics.

Their spokesman, Ibrahim Tukur Bakura, emphasized that the meeting did not involve party politics. He mentioned that he would personally brief journalists if the lawmakers decided to return to the APC, which they left shortly before the meeting.

The lawmakers dismissed reports that they rejoined the APC following their meeting with Tinubu. They clarified that the visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja was solely about their suspension and unpaid entitlements, not political realignments.
