Zenith Bank Launches Girl-Child Empowerment Programme for 300 Girls

Zenith Bank Plc conducted its inaugural Girl-Child Empowerment Programme on Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event gathered students from selected schools statewide to foster learning, mentorship, and personal development.

The programme was conceived by Zenith Bank’s Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON. She emphasized the bank’s commitment to nurturing young girls and guiding them toward informed future decisions. During the event, she urged participants to envision the women they aspire to become, challenging them to transcend current circumstances.
