Zenith Bank Launches Girl Child Focus Event

Zenith Bank’s Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, OON, launched the 'Banking On Her Tomorrow' event. She is the bank’s first female GMD/CEO and a dedicated advocate for girl-child education and empowerment.

Scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the virtual event follows the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11. It aims to inspire girls through expert discussions on education, careers, and leadership opportunities.

The initiative aligns with Zenith Bank’s Z-Woman programme, which provides financial support and capacity building for women-owned businesses. This effort supports the bank’s commitment to advancing women and girls across all life stages and national development.
